- "From a few hours to a few days'' - I reply
Each silk rose has its own character. Some roses are quite docile, they easily assemble step-by-step, petal after petal like making a dessert following a recipe from a cookbook Such roses can be made in 4-6 hours.
However, there are some roses that are capricious and whimsy like young actresses from French cabarets. They try on petal after petal, demanding their petals be made from luxurious, shiny and fine silks. Some roses capriciously require different coloring or different styles of petals... In that case I have to cut out new piles of petals, dye them in darker or lighter colors, experiment with flower making tools and sponges for creating perfect petals to suit and complement such roses.
